IME committed to providing quality and excellence as an application development and system integration company specialising in Geo-Spatial Solutions, operational systems, web and database (e-commerce) solutions, AutoCAD and document management solutions, working in a wide range of sectors including, utilities, security services, blue chip organizations, Local Authorities and National Governments.

As 1Spatial began to work with IME on various projects, such as the combined effort with Proteus on the Property Registration Authority of Ireland, 1Spatial became aware of the extensive experience IME possessed in the area of CAD/GIS and web-based access to spatial data and merged their knowledge with 1Spatial's own expertise in July 2007 to form 1Spatial Scotland.
