Central government organisations have been creating, utilising and maintaining spatial data for many years. This has led to data rich environments, holding a vast amount of valuable information. 1Spatial offers solutions to ensure this data is fit for purpose both now and into the future.
1Spatial works with a number of Central Government organisations, including:

• Environment Agency– 1Spatial’s data re-engineering expertise has helped the EA to speed up spatial queries and image rendering by simplifying the data within its National Flood and Coastal Defence Database (NFCDD) system
• The Local Government Boundaries Commissioner (LGBC) for Northern Ireland is saving significant time on part of its data review process thanks to a new system from 1Spatial
• The Property Registration Authority - The implementation of a new system devised by 1Spatial and its partners has helped to reduce turnaround times for property registrations. They are now completing 20,000 electronic applications per month, compared to 7000 paper applications
• INGA - INGA is implementing a joint 1Spatial/Intergraph solution to ensure a more efficient administration of the system which co-ordinates and pays EU subsidies to over 400,000 Portuguese farmers per year
• Centre for Ecology and Hydrology (CEH) - CEH has undertaken a joint feasibility study with 1Spatial and Ordnance Survey Great Britain to generalise OS MasterMap® data as a potential foundation for its Land Cover Map (LCM) 2007
• Scottish Enterprise - 1Spatial's solution has helped Scottish Enterprise to improve the delivery of broadband services to rural and remote areas of Scotland
