The City of Oslo has been running a planning database and applications provided by 1Spatial since the 1980s.

This database has played a vital role as a basis for distribution and sales of map products but was becoming increasingly out of date, with issues of data quality, speed of processing and lack of compatibility with more modern technology.

Using technology and expertise from 1Spatial the City of Oslo has now updated its system to be more streamlined and user-friendly. Tasks can now be completed much more quickly and accurate data is widely available both internally and externally.
