Due to resource constraints, Selby District Council (SDC) needed a quick, no-fuss solution to PAI. They did not have the time or staff to purchase software and process the data in-house. Moreover, good quality results free from errors were essential, as data would otherwise be rejected by their CAPS UNI-form system on import.

1Spatial’s service-based solutions provided the perfect answer for SDC. Their data was taken, quickly, cleaned, analysed and returned within a short timescale and without the need for staff training and implementation. In additional 1Spatial were able to shift circular features, whilst maintaining exact shape, and create building extents from shifted point data.  

SDC are now benefiting from clean, accurate data that now aligns correctly with the OS MasterMap®. The data will now be imported into their CAPS UNI-form system, meaning that they will be able to trust their data for all automated analysis.
