BPN (Badan Pertanahan Nasional) Sub Directorate Mapping and Photogrammetry is the national agency responsible for the provision of spatial data to all local governments in Indonesia. As an organisation with limited human resources to deal with a vast amount of spatial data, BPN needed a solution to both support and speed up their spatial data processing and maintenance. This was their reason for choosing Radius Topology.

Radius Topology was resold through 1Spatial’s South East Asian distributor Credent Technology.  Credent will provide BPN with a software solution that will automate the spatial data cleaning process. Changes in the map data can be quickly validated before being distributed to Indonesia’s local government organisations. The solution also includes an Oracle Database 10g to provide a robust and scalable repository, enabling data sharing between departments. The solution will enable BPN to maximize the spatial data output of their limited staff in an efficient and cost effective way. 1Spatial’s software will be the spatial data quality component of the Oracle data hub.
