| IGN Belgium
 The national mapping agency of Belgium has joined those of Great Britain and Denmark in a project to advance the development of automated generalisation.
IGN Belgium (Institut Géographique National – Nationaal Geografisch Instituut) is a member of the Mapping Agencies Generalisation NETwork (MAGNET) project, which already includes Ordnance Survey Great Britain (OSGB) and Kort & Matrikelstyrelsen (KMS, Denmark).
MAGNET aims to consolidate and extend current generalisation capabilities in line with the business requirements of its members. The organisations involved in MAGNET are driving the development and continual improvement of 1Spatial’s automatic generalisation product: Radius Clarity. While 1Spatial provides the expertise and knowledge to build the technology behind Radius Clarity, the input and feedback from the members makes it a truly useful customer-focused product.
