The SwERVE XML-2-ORA utility processes XML and SWJ files produced by a SwERVE 4.1 Smallworld extract and automatically populates the tables, indexes, constraints and spatial data in Oracle.
The first of two passes processes the XML files, creating a table, primary key and data for each file. The utility differentiates between 4 geometry types: Text; Point; Polygon and Line, creating SDO_GEOMETRY objects and additional supporting attribute columns where appropriate.

The second pass processes the SWJ link files, creating intersection tables, foreign key constraints to the tables it links to and data.

The resulting data structure can easily be analysed with any case tool before being further optimised.
